Rainbow house

This full house new construction project on a beautiful property just North East of Bloomington was a collaboration between builder and designer. We built this home from the ground up. Simple rooflines, contemporary exterior and bold color were the creative brief. The home’s bold exterior lines hold their own against the surrounding woods, and the interiors are layered with custom details, cheerful palettes, and playful patterns that tie together.

The client needed a house that could keep up with a children, animals and spaces for running two businesses. Durability and practicality weren't optional. The resulting home merges a robust design with a fun color palette and solid construction that will last for generations.
